Fantastic views, Fantastic food, beer and cider, great staff and venue. We watched live music and it was a great memorable night. We noticed many kids and families as well as our own. Only thing I'd improve is a bigger play structure for kids, the small plastic one was too small for the amount of kids. If a proper permanent wood one with slides or something bigger was supplied, we feel like it would add an even more impressive atmosphere to an already Fantastic place. There was definitely some core memories made there.

We dropped by the first weekend the winery had pizza and live music. It was packed! That said, as an amature cider officianado, this is some of the best cider I have had in over a decade of regularly trying new cideries. The setting is picturesque. There is a small airport closeby but it was not heard. There is a long, gravel drive path with plenty of parking at the end as well as parking alongside the path all the way up. We parked near the back, when you first turn down the gravel and it was a short walk up. We ordered the rootbeer on tap, the two year aged cider and a gluten free three-meat pizza with zucchini added (I love all squash...what can I say). We also ordered a couple waters. Those are grab yourself from the refrigerated case with the bottled cider. We settled in and waited. We were informed it would be an hour wait. We enjoyed the music from a local, very talented young lady and waited. As they were slammed from 4:30 on (we were informed), the wait was longer. When the pizza arrived, it was sans zucchini. I asked to be sure we had the coreect pizza as gluten is an allergy for me and the weeks I suffer is worth no cheating. Thankfully, the pizza was ours. The system did not allow for additions upon order, so the kitchen had no idea. The person who brought us the pizza appologized and asked if I still wanted it on the side. I said only if it causes no added trouble. They shortly brought out a plate piled with steaming, butter and garlic clove infused golden and green slices of mouthwatering deliciousness. I would love to order a veggie plate like that. One of the cooks came out and explained how slammed they had been and asked if I was ok with the plate of zucchini. I was more than ok. It was better than I imagined with the cloves of garlic and fresh pepper.. I temporarily forgot the very good pizza and focused on inhaling the veggie goodness. That said, the cheese to topping to bread to sauce ratio was perfection. The gluten free crust was soft and similar to hand tossed, if not actually hand tossed. I could hang out here every day...especially with a plate of that zucchini again. :) The view overlooks the river and in the evening the moon rises over the hills on the other side and it's gorgeous. We loved the rootbeer so much we bought a growler and also snagged a burbon barrel aged bottle of cider unavailable on tap. I was so impressed with everything I tried it was no question I was buying that bottle. The cook was a kind and caring guy who said he takes food allergies seriously, which I greatly appreciate. The staff were all very friendly and clearly doing their level best. We have eaten out at around ten places in the last week, while here on a much needed gettaway. None of them were bad. The entire experience at Union Hill Cidery placed them clearly at number one and the only spot I would drive five hours just to eat at again. There are fire buckets and flower planters along the outer edge of the concrete pad. The bathrooms are gender nuetral and family friendly...both having a changing station. Well behaved dogs and humans who clean up after pooches are welcome. There was a small pile of blankets in the corner by one of the garage door like openings for your pup to rest upon if you dined on the concrete pad. There is also a small amphitheater with full tables and free seating to watch and listen to live singers who are stationed under the pergola at the bottom. If you've never been here...you are missing out. If you have been, it's time to visit again. I wish the cidery and their wonderful kitchen staff all the well deserved success.

Views for days, live music, local brews and ciders make this a local fav and should be on any visitors to do list. Usually one item only for eats, but the beans were some of the best we've had and a ciderwurst sausage was what the occasion called for.

We loved the atmosphere and chill vibe of this place! Great views, dog-friendly, not crowded, big shade trees! The service was fast and friendly and the cider tasting was fun.

Great selection and quality of cider. Beautiful place. Food was great. Avocado tower was fantastic. Lots GF options.

Union Hill has been growing their venue for the past several years. As of October 2024 the venue has a wonderful stage that has a captivating view of the Columbia River. The tasting room is large and has lots of seating. The outdoor seating has some covered areas along with a large number of table to sit at. You can sit on the grass in the amphitheater and enjoy some wonderful local music on Friday evenings. Family, and dog friendly Union Hill is a great place to spend an enjoyable evening sipping cider and watching the sunset over the Cascades. Union Hill has a small food menu that will appeal to most. They have a large selection of ciders to savor and enjoy. My personal favorite is the Whiskey Business a barrel aged cider. Super tasty!

I have loved Union Hill Cider ever since I discovered them ala the Pybus Saturday Farmers Market. Of all the ciders I tried that visit, Union Hill stood out as the best. We went there for the first time in July 2021, and I have loved seeing how they've grown since then! The location is beautiful and relaxing. The offerings run the gamut for all cider aficionados and I've even joined their cider club to have bottles delivered (I'm not a local) because of how much I enjoy their offerings (tried my first hopped cider through them and discovered I LIKED IT). Visit them and enjoy!!

Absolutely amazing! The views are stunning, the avocado tower is so good and the ciders so yummy! All the staff were so nice and came out to visit. New favorite place, will be coming back year after year. Run, don't walk to this unbelievable place. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon!
